Kayley Cook

Director of Early Childhood Education at McWane Science Center

Kayley Cook has seven years of work experience in the field of education. In 2013, they began as a Summer Education Intern at Moundville Archaeological Park. Kayley then moved to Children's Hands On Museum in 2014, where they held the same role. In 2015, they began working at McWane Science Center as an Early Childhood Educator and Education Presenter. In 2017, they were promoted to Coordinator of Early Childhood Education and PNC Vocabby's World Program Coordinator. That same year, they also began working at Canary Gallery as an Associate Gallerist. In 2021, they left McWane Science Center to become a Teacher at PreSchool Partners, and they returned to McWane Science Center as the Director of Early Childhood Education.

Kayley Cook attended Johns Hopkins University Advanced Academic Programs from 2016 to 2018, where they earned a Master of Arts in Museology/Museum Studies. Kayley then attended the University of Montevallo from 2012 to 2016, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in History and Art History.
