Debojyoti Dey

Debojyoti Dey currently serves as Vice President and Head of Research at Multi Commodity Exchange of India Ltd., where responsibilities include managing policy research and driving advocacy for market development since joining in April 2010. Previously held positions include Assistant Vice President and Senior Manager - Economist, focusing on economic research, consultancy, and market development. Prior to this role, Debojyoti worked at NABARD from January 2001 to March 2010 as a Manager, concentrating on banking supervision and integrating niche financial products into mainstream banking. Debojyoti's career began as a Research Assistant at the Institute for Human Development in 2000. Educational qualifications include an E-PGP in Strategy and Finance from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, an M.A. in Economics from the Delhi School of Economics, and a B.A. in Economics from Delhi University.
