Jeff Coughlan

Jeff Coughlan is responsible for the strategic vision and tactical execution for all areas of product development and product management at MD Financial Management (MD), with the ultimate objective of ensuring MD clients have access to the right solutions to meet their financial goals. Jeff leads a team that works closely with Advisors and other stakeholders to execute on the overall strategic direction and key investment solution priorities that enable MD to deliver industry leading, customer-centric investment solutions.

Since joining MD in 1996, Jeff has worked in various product management, marketing and investment leadership roles. He has led the launch of more than 25 MD funds and MDPIC pools, as well as MD’s original alternative investment strategy, and has overseen the design, implementation and launch of many of MD’s existing offerings. Jeff was appointed President and CEO of MD Life Insurance Company in 2021 and is a CFA charterholder.
