Laura Humphries

Laura Humphries has a diverse work experience spanning different companies and roles. Laura started their career in 2002 as a Quality Analyst at Tyco Healthcare and worked there until 2007. From 2007 to 2008, they served as a Quality Assurance Associate at Embla Systems. Laura then joined Covidien as a Quality Assurance Associate / Lead Auditor from 2008 to 2009. In 2010, Laura became the Manager of Quality Management at MD Physician Services Software Inc., where they worked until 2013. Laura then joined Telus Health as the Manager of Quality and Compliance from 2013 to 2015. Laura's most recent position is at MD Financial Management | Gestion financière MD, where they have held various roles since 2015. Laura started as the Manager of Compliance Services and Data Management from 2015 to 2017, then became the AVP of Compliance Services and Data Management from 2017 to 2021, and is currently serving as the Director of Business Risk from 2021 onwards.

Laura Humphries attended the University of Toronto in 2012-2013, where they studied Enterprise Risk Management. In 2014, they obtained a certification in Certified Manager of Organizational Excellence and Quality from the American Society for Quality. Laura also holds a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance, General from Agonquin College. Additionally, they are a Certified Quality Auditor from the American Society for Quality. Laura Humphries also has a certification in Certified Information Privacy Professional, obtained from the International Association of Privacy Professionals through an institution called IAPP.
