Sandy Roberts

Sandy Roberts has extensive work experience in the field of global tax. They currently hold the position of Senior Vice President, Global Tax at Stagwell since 2021. Prior to that, they served in the same role at MDC Partners starting from 2020.

From 2018 to 2020, Sandy worked at Hudson RPO as the Global Director of Tax. They were responsible for overseeing all tax-related matters for the multinational company and successfully completed tax accounting, SEC tax disclosures, and tax return compliance for multiple transactions.

Before joining Hudson RPO, Sandy worked at Hudson from 2003 to 2018. They held various positions including Global Director of Tax, Director of International Taxes, and Regional Tax Manager. During their tenure, they developed and managed a global tax team, implemented corporate income tax compliance strategies, and provided tax expertise for the Asia Pacific and European regions.

Prior to Hudson, Sandy worked at TMP Worldwide as a Regional Tax Manager from 2000 to 2003. They were responsible for tax strategy, risk management, and compliance for the Asia Pacific Region.

Sandy began their career at PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Tax Director in Sydney, Australia from 1995 to 2000. They also gained experience as a Senior Tax Associate and Senior Tax Consultant at Coopers & Lybrand in Chicago and Birmingham, AL, respectively, from 1989 to 1994.

Overall, Sandy Roberts has a wealth of experience in global tax management, strategy, risk management, and compliance in a variety of industries and multinational companies.

Sandy Roberts has a strong educational background in accounting. Sandy obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Florida, where they attended from 1984 to 1987. Afterwards, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Accounting with a concentration in Taxation at the University of Florida, attending from 1988 to 1989.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Sandy Roberts has obtained certifications in their field. Sandy is a Full Member of the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, which they achieved in 2007. Sandy is also a Registered Certified Public Accountant, certified by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation in 1989.
