Lila O'Connor has extensive experience in the medical communications field. Lila has worked at Frontline Medical Communications since 2004, where they started as an Associate Editor for Federal Practitioner. In this role, they researched and wrote a monthly patient information column and edited feature articles and columns. From 2006 to 2010, they served as the Managing Editor for Federal Practitioner, where they supported the Editor in planning the editorial calendar and provided leadership to junior staff. Lila then became the Chief Editor for The American Journal of Orthopedics from 2010 to 2011, where they planned editorial calendars and executed sponsored programs. Since 2012, they have been the Chief Editor for OBG Management at Frontline Medical Communications. In this role, they work closely with the physician Board of Editors to develop an editorial strategy and edit journal content.
Lila O'Connor's education history includes a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Journalism and Media Studies from Rutgers University - School of Communication and Information. Additionally, they hold a certificate in Conceptual Foundations of Medicine and a minor in Chemistry from the University of Pittsburgh.
