Ryan Seaman

Ryan Seaman is a Bioinformatician at MDI Biological Laboratory since January 2023. Previously, Ryan served as a Personal Care Assistant at Tempus Unlimited, Inc., where assistance was provided to a Colby student with spinal muscular atrophy. Ryan also worked as the Summer Admissions Assistant Coordinator at Colby College, responsible for coordinating campus tours and assisting with admissions tasks. As a Soccer Coach for LAKE OSWEGO SOCCER CLUB, Ryan coached select teams for ages 5-15. In a role as a Shadow (Surgeon) in Portland, Ryan observed surgeries and consultations in the field of oncology and neurology. Additionally, as a Research Assistant at Portland State University, statistical methods were employed to analyze water data related to climate change. Ryan holds a Bachelor's degree in Computational Biology from Colby College, earned in December 2022, and a High School Diploma from Lake Oswego Senior High School.
