Jennifer R. Waters joins MDIC as Project Manager for Digital Health and Technology initiatives. Currently her portfolio involves 5G-enabled healthcare technologies working group (MDIC 5G WG) as well as medical extended reality working group (MDIC MXR WG). The idea of the MDIC 5G WG is to involve key stakeholders and gather ideas that will facilitate the incorporation of 5G technologies in existing healthcare technology. MDIC MXR WG engages stakeholders across various sectors and is working to identify open evaluation challenges and knowledge gaps that impede the development of novel applications of MXR devices across healthcare applications.
Prior to joining MDIC, Jennifer has had multiple roles in providing specialized experience in analytical and administrative, as well as supervisory experience in the health care field. Most recently, Jennifer worked at MedStar Georgetown University where she provided administrative support to medical teams and managed patient relations, serving as patient liaison. Jennifer has also had the opportunity to complete her graduate practicum at the Salem Veterans Affairs Hospital where she participated in collecting and presenting clinical data for research.
Jennifer holds a Master’s in Healthcare Administration and Bachelor’s in Fine Art.
