Mikhail A. Kovalenko

Mikhail A. Kovalenko currently serves as the Deputy CEO at MDigital since May 2024. Previously, Mikhail held the position of Advisor to the CEO at Optima Bank Kyrgyzstan from August 2022 to May 2024, where responsibilities included developing the bank's analytics center and supporting agile transformation initiatives. Mikhail also worked as the Head of Investments, Exports, and International Affairs at Astana Hub from March 2022 to July 2022, focusing on building a community of venture capital investors and facilitating funding for IT startups. Earlier experience includes strategic roles at KAZPHOSPHATE LLC and KPMG, managing various projects in banking, chemicals, logistics, and other sectors. Mikhail's educational background includes an MBA from Rockford University, a Financial Decision Making certificate from the University of Chicago, and undergraduate studies in Business Administration and Management.
