Hon. Peter T. Zarella

Hon. Peter T. Zarella (Ret.) serves as Of Counsel at McElroy, Deutsch, Mulvaney & Carpenter, LLP since January 2017, focusing on appellate law and alternative dispute resolution. Previously, Zarella served as an Associate Justice of the Connecticut Supreme Court from 2001 to 2016, where over 300 majority opinions were authored, covering significant legal areas such as products liability and constitutional law. Zarella also held judicial roles at the Connecticut Appellate Court and Connecticut Superior Court, and was a partner at Brown, Paindiris & Zarella from 1978 to 1996. Educational qualifications include a Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Northeastern University.
