Dominic Tynne has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Dominic started their career at Cartec Langlechner Gmbh as a Development Engineer, where they worked on software development projects using C, Pascal, and Assembler. Dominic also had involvement in hardware design. After that, they worked at Berner & Mattner Systemtechnik GmbH as a Software Engineer, where they contributed to the development of a telephone system for Bosch.

Following this, Dominic worked at Nachrichtentechnik Emmerl Gmbh as a Software Engineer, developing software for testing personal paging devices and telecommunication test benches. Dominic also created software to control a radio receiver from a PC.

Later, they joined Elverex Ltd as a Support & Development Engineer, providing technical support to worldwide distributors and customers and enhancing the software testing product Evaluator. Dominic worked with a variety of PC-based C/C++ compilers during this role.

Dominic then moved to Tecnomen, where they held multiple roles. As a Group Leader, Paging Network Controller, they led a team responsible for the design, development, support, and maintenance of Tecnomen paging systems. Dominic later became a Senior Software Engineer in the Test Automation Group, where they developed test automation frameworks and completed interoperability testing.

Their most recent experience is at Martin Dawes Systems, where they worked as a Software Development Engineer. Their responsibilities included Java development for billing and customer management products, such as developing a Selfcare web application and enhancing the MDS CMP product with Number Portability functionality. Dominic also worked on XML document transformation for SEPA payments.

Overall, Dominic Tynne has a strong background in software development, particularly in Java, as well as experience in test automation, test frameworks, and technical support.

Dominic Tynne completed their Leaving Cert (7 honours) at Ardscoil Ris Limerick from 1978 to 1983. Dominic then pursued a B.Eng (2nd Class Honours) degree in Software and Telecommunications at the University of Limerick from 1983 to 1987. Later, from 1998 to 2000, they attended the National College of Ireland and obtained a Diploma with Distinction in First-Line Management (Supervision).
