William Peteroy is the Founding Partner at Blackthorne Consulting and serves as an Advisor at various companies including Edge Delta, Measured Analytics and Insurance, C2SEC, and Cyber Mentor Fund. William previously worked as the Chief Technology Officer - Security at Gigamon and as the CEO of icebrg.io. William also held positions at Microsoft as a Security Strategist and Software Security Response Program Manager. Prior to their corporate roles, William worked at the United States Department of Defense as an Information Security and Network Operations Analyst. William holds a Masters of Science in Engineering in Computer Science from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and German from the University of Colorado Boulder.
