Jort Gerritsma

Jort Gerritsma currently serves as the Head of Analytics, Production & Operations at Meatable, focusing on cultivated meat, after holding the position of Manager Analytics. Prior to joining Meatable in September 2021, Jort Gerritsma spent over 18 years at DSM Biotechnology Center Delft, where roles included Line Manager R&D & Senior Scientist Industrial Analysis, leading an analytical department and managing a team of scientists. Additional achievements at DSM include facilitation of continuous improvement initiatives and contributions to food application R&D projects as a responsible scientist. Jort Gerritsma's earlier experience includes postdoctoral research at Leiden University Medical Center and roles in clinical chemistry, complemented by a PhD in Immunology from Leiden University, a Master's in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Catholic University Nijmegen, and a Bachelor's in Analytical Chemistry & Biochemistry from Avans University of Applied Sciences.
