Eric Geake

Eric Geake is a seasoned Marine Engineer with extensive experience in the maritime industry. Currently serving at MEBA Dist 1-PCD (AFL-CIO) since December 2021, Eric's previous roles include First Assistant Engineer at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution and Chief Engineer at Moran Towing Corporation. Eric's career began with various engineering positions, including Chief Engineer at Bouchard Transportation Co., Inc., and Marine Engineer roles at Hornbeck Offshore and MEBA Dist 1-PCD (AFL-CIO). Eric holds a Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering from Massachusetts Maritime Academy, a Master of Science in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration from Western New England University, and a Certified Technician Training in Marine Diesel Propulsion from Electro-Motive Diesel. Additional qualifications include a certificate in Refrigerant Transition and Recovery from Ferris State University.
