Nancy Chowdhury

Nancy Chowdhury is an accomplished Marine Engineer with extensive experience in the maritime industry. Currently serving as a 2nd Assistant Engineer at MEBA Dist 1-PCD (AFL-CIO) since May 2018, Nancy has also held the position of 3rd Assistant Engineer. Prior experience includes a role as a Student Worker in the Financial Aid Department at SUNY Maritime College from July 2016 to April 2017, where responsibilities included scanning student paperwork and managing identification card issuance. Additionally, Nancy participated in the Leaders in Environmental Action for the Future program with The Nature Conservancy in July 2012. Nancy holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Marine Engineering from the State University of New York Maritime College and graduated from New York Harbor School in 2013.
