Joke Smeets

Joke Smeets has extensive experience in credit control and debtor management, currently working at MECC Maastricht since November 2017. Previously, Joke served as Teamleider Debiteuren at Vesteda from June 2015 to May 2017, where responsibilities included managing rental arrears through targeted process control, collections, and serving as a key user of the REMS information system. Prior to that, Joke held multiple roles at Vesteda from 2002 to 2015, including Senior Team Administratie and Medewerker Debiteuren, focusing on timely processing of invoicing and collections while establishing a clear structure for core processes. Earlier career experience includes positions at ACI as a Financieel Medewerker and at Scholtens in debtor administration. Education includes studies at Zuyd Hogeschool from 2004 to 2006 and Mulo Stein from 1967 to 1971.
