Jennifer Spinney

Jennifer Spinney has a diverse work experience, starting with their most recent role as a Lead Software Engineer at Mechanical Orchard since June 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Staff Developer at Shopify from June 2021 to March 2023. Jennifer also had multiple roles at VMware, including Staff Engineer from September 2020 to May 2021, and Senior Member Of Technical Staff from January 2020 to September 2020. Before VMware, they were a Staff Software Engineer at Pivotal Software, Inc. from July 2018 to January 2020. Jennifer's experience also includes working as a Senior Software Engineer at SUSE from March 2017 to June 2018, where they focused on Cloud Foundry development. Jennifer previously worked at Hewlett Packard Enterprise from November 2014 to March 2017, where they contributed to their proprietary Cloud Foundry offering and worked on the Diego project. Jennifer started their career at Microsoft as a Software Development Engineer, working on the OData team and contributing to the development of the OData protocol and Microsoft's shared-source library for OData payload serialization and deserialization, ODataLib. Prior to that, they held positions at Worcester Polytechnic Institute and BBN Technologies as a Senior Assistant and intern, respectively.

Jennifer Spinney attended Worcester Polytechnic Institute from 2007 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
