Valeriy Dyachenko

Valeriy Dyachenko currently serves as the CIO of Mechel, a position held since January 2018, while also directing Mechel-InfoTech LLC. In this role, Valeriy is responsible for defining the IT strategy for the Mechel Group. Previous experience includes serving as CIO at Mechel Steel from April 2017 to January 2018, and as Logistics and IT Director at Mechel-Service LLC from June 2013 to April 2017, overseeing IT projects and infrastructure for one of Russia’s largest steel trading companies. Valeriy's career with Mechel dates back to October 2005, encompassing various leadership roles in logistics and IT across multiple subsidiaries, including Mechel Service Global B.V., where leadership extended to operations in 17 countries.
