Autumn Watson

Autumn Watson, MPH, REHS, currently serves as the Public Health Organizational Development Director for Mecklenburg County since April 2007, with previous roles including Senior Health Program Manager and COVID-19 Lead Manager. In the latter position, Autumn developed and led COVID-19 response teams, managing a diverse staff of 60-130 members. Prior experience includes serving as Compliance Coordinator, overseeing accreditation efforts, and functioning as Environmental Health Plans Examiner, enhancing inspection compliance through process reviews. Autumn's earlier career features roles at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as a Local Study Project Manager and as a Manager at Carolina Pool Management. Autumn holds a Master’s degree in Public Health from the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
