Palash Banerjee

Palash Banerjee is an experienced environmental engineering professional with extensive expertise in mining environment and sustainability. Currently serving as Assistant General Manager at MECON LIMITED since April 2006, Palash has led environmental impact assessments for various mining and industrial projects, ensuring adherence to local regulations. Previously, Palash worked as Assistant Manager at RAMKY Infra Consulting Pvt. Ltd., providing environmental consultancy services for infrastructure projects in West Bengal. Prior experience includes serving as an Engineer at LEA Associates South Asia Pvt. Ltd., where responsibilities included conducting environmental assessments for the ADB funded North-East Region Urban Development Project. Palash holds a Master's degree in Environmental Science and Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mining from Nagpur University.
