Vishwajit Kumar

Vishwajit Kumar has extensive experience in the field of iron making, with a career spanning several roles at MECON Limited from February 2006 to the present, culminating in the position of General Manager. In this capacity, Vishwajit Kumar has overseen the consultancy, engineering, and design of blast furnace complexes. Prior positions at MECON Limited include Senior Manager and Senior Design Engineer, focusing on project consultancy and engineering. Before this, Vishwajit Kumar served as Head of Mechanical Maintenance at Tata Metaliks Ltd, managing the erection and commissioning of blast furnaces, and as a Senior Engineer at Malvika Steel Limited, where responsibilities included project management of blast furnace complexes. Vishwajit Kumar holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Steel Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, and a BE in Mechanical Engineering from BIT Mesra.
