David Brown

David Brown is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in information security leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as the Chief Information Security Officer at Med-Metrix since August 2022, David directs security programs and oversees change management protocols. Prior to this role, David was the Director of Information Security at THE GEORGE WASHINGTON UNIVERSITY MEDICAL FACULTY ASSOCIATES, INC, and the Manager of Information Security at Mary Washington Healthcare. David's earlier experience includes serving as Chief Information Security Officer for the Commonwealth of Virginia Department of Behavioral Health, where David led risk mitigation projects, and as an Infrastructure Engineer at Northrop Grumman, focusing on IT systems management and disaster recovery. David also worked as an Information Technology Infrastructure Manager at Intrexon Corporation, where David designed foundational IT infrastructure for a pharmaceutical startup. David holds a Master of Business Administration in Management Information Systems from Northcentral University.
