Marcos Almeida

Marcos Almeida is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in front-end development and user interface design. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer II at Medable, Inc., Marcos leads initiatives within the Electronic Clinical Outcome Assessment team, notably creating a framework that accelerates clinical study form rendering in React. Prior to this role, Marcos spent over 14 years at Google, contributing to various projects, including a new UI system for Hotels search that enhanced user engagement and efforts to improve performance and accessibility in the Google Play Store. Marcos's professional background also includes significant contributions at Oracle, where prototypes and UI solutions were developed. Academically, Marcos holds both a Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University, along with an International Baccalaureate Bilingual Diploma from the Vienna International School.
