Marco Sanna

Marco Sanna is a skilled biomedical engineer currently employed at Medacta International as a MyKnee Patient Matched Technology Engineer since September 2021, focusing on 3D printed guides for implant placement based on preoperative imaging. Marco has previous experience as a Trainee at Direct3D, working on orthopedic insoles, and has contributed as a member and content creator for VGen, promoting engineering topics through webinars and community engagement. An Erasmus+ Trainee at Universiteit Gent, Marco developed a Bachelor's Thesis on graph theory and functional connectivity in fMRI data. Marco holds a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Università di Pisa and a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering from Università degli Studi di Cagliari.
