Esther Wafula

Esther Wafula is a highly experienced professional in the field of monitoring and evaluation, currently serving as the Quality, Accountability and Compliance Manager at Medair since January 2023. With a robust background as an Independent M&E Expert from 2013 to 2022, Esther has reviewed proposals for the Global Fund, assessed program management capacities, and conducted evaluations of monitoring and evaluation systems. Previous roles at PwC included Manager of Monitoring and Evaluation and Senior Associate, where Esther led teams on various M&E assignments and established the M&E sub-line of service in PwC Kenya. Esther's early career at Medair included positions such as Country Director and Administrative Coordinator, focusing on strategic leadership and compliance with organizational standards. Esther holds a Master of Arts in Development Administration and Management from The University of Manchester and multiple certifications in coaching and monitoring and evaluation.
