Frank de Gioia

Frank de Gioia has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and positions. Frank currently holds the role of Global Commercial Director at Medartis since September 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Smith & Nephew as a Senior Marketing Director for Orthopedics EMEA from April 2021 to September 2023. Frank also served as the Marketing & Operations Director EMEA at Medtronic from October 2019 to April 2021. Previously, they held positions at Stryker as the Marketing Director for EEMEA from February 2017 to July 2019 and at Johnson & Johnson as a Business Manager for the Middle East and Africa from January 2016 to February 2017. Frank also worked as a Business Manager/National Sales Manager in the Philippines and as a Regional Marketing Manager in ASEAN at Johnson & Johnson. Before that, they held a role as a Regional Business Development and Marketing Manager at Mindray. Frank de Gioia completed their Masters at The Chinese University of Hong Kong and their MBA at HEC Paris. Frank started their career as a Financial Analyst at The Hain Celestial Group and later worked as a Senior Project Analyst and Consultant for Public Works Projects at URS Corporation.

Frank de Gioia received their Bachelors degree in Business Administration from Loyola Marymount University between 2001 and 2005. In 2003, they attended the Academy for International Education to study Foreign Studies and European Markets. In 2004, they participated in a Semester at Sea program, focusing on Foreign Relations and International Business. Frank then pursued a Certification in Project Management at UCLA from 2007 to 2008. Frank later earned a Masters degree in Marketing from The Chinese University of Hong Kong from 2011 to 2012. Finally, in 2010 to 2011, Frank completed an MBA program with a specialization in Market Entry Strategy at HEC Paris.
