Gene Groys

Gene Groys has a diverse work experience spanning across various industries and roles. Gene is currently the CSO at MedaSync, where they enable post-acute providers to manage financial risks associated with payer contracts. Before MedaSync, Gene was an Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR) at JumpStart and Youngstown Business Incubator (YBI), where they mentored and advised early stage companies. Gene was also a Founding Member at Lake Erie Partners, focusing on real estate, consulting, and early stage start-ups.

Gene's entrepreneurial journey began with OnShift, a company they founded and grew for 6 years as the EVP. At OnShift, they worked closely with long-term care and senior living providers, helping them achieve their staffing and labor optimization goals. Prior to OnShift, Gene held various roles, including Director of Billing and Distribution at American Greetings Interactive (AGI), VP of Product Management at Lavastorm Technologies, Principal Manager at Siebel Systems, and Principal PM at Siebel.

Additionally, Gene started their career as a Developer at Metasolv. Throughout their career, Gene has been focused on building and growing organizations, providing strategic direction, and helping companies achieve their goals.
