Abdullah Günay

Abdullah Günay has worked in various roles for different companies. Abdullah started their career as an intern at Deloitte in 2015, gaining experience in Transaction Services and Corporate Finance. In 2018, they joined Deutsche Bahn as a Facheinkäufer and also worked in the Big Data AG Procurement Network. In 2021, they moved to DB Systel GmbH, where they served as an IT Security Consultant & Architect until 2022. Currently, Abdullah holds the position of Chief Information Security Officer at medatixx GmbH & Co. KG, starting in 2023.

Abdullah Günay obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Goethe University Frankfurt in 2020. Abdullah then pursued a Semester Abroad in Mathematics at Boğaziçi University from 2016 to 2017. In 2022, they enrolled in Albstadt-Sigmaringen University to pursue a Master of Science in Advanced IT Security, which they are expected to complete in 2024. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications in cybersecurity and information security from institutions such as Coursera, Deutsche Bahn, Udemy, and qSkills GmbH & Co. KG. The certifications cover topics such as cryptography, cyber threat intelligence, network security, ethical hacking, and ISO 27001 implementation.
