Vishal Arya has extensive work experience in various industries and roles. Currently, they serve as the VP of Operations Research & Analytics for Medecipher, Inc., a health-based SAAS startup. In this role, they utilize advanced mathematical methods to optimize nurse scheduling in hospital Emergency Departments. Vishal has significant experience with technologies like Postgres SQL, Python API, Gurobi optimization solver with AMPL, and Angular with TypeScript.

Vishal started their career as the Founder of Vishal Arya Consulting Service, a boutique management consulting firm that provided advisory services to pharmaceutical manufacturers.

During their career, Vishal also had the opportunity to work as a Fellow at the United Nations, advising the Director of Development, and as a Senior Consultant at IMS Health Consulting.

Vishal Arya has a diverse education history. Vishal is currently pursuing a Post Graduate Research degree in Operations Research at The Johns Hopkins University, starting in 2022. Prior to that, they completed a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics Operations Research at George Mason University from 2020 to 2021.

Vishal also holds an MBA (1Y) from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, specializing in Finance, Accounting, and Marketing, which they obtained in 2010. Vishal has a BAS in Computer Science & Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, obtained from an unknown timeframe, as well as a BSE in Economics from The Wharton School, also with an unknown timeframe.
