Phillip M. Calaj

Phillip M. Calaj, DPM, currently serves as a Podiatric Surgical Resident at AdventHealth since July 2020. In addition to this role, Phillip has been an ambassador for BoardVitals, Sim*Vivo, and Medelita, contributing to medical education and resources since September 2019 and January 2019, respectively. Phillip also gained experience as a Teaching Assistant for histology, physiology, and microbiology at Barry University from August 2016 to July 2019. In January 2018, Phillip acted as a keynote speaker for both the Mercer Pre-Health and Sciences Professions and the American Medical Student Association's podiatric career presentations. Phillip earned a Bachelor of Arts in Pre-Medicine from Mercer University in 2014 and a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Barry University in 2020, following secondary education at Walton High School.
