Tim Schweichler

Tim Schweichler has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Tim currently works as the Lead Data Scientist at Medely since November 2022. Prior to that, from 2018 to 2022, they held the position of Senior Data Scientist/Quantitative Analyst at Asurion, where they contributed to inventory optimization projects and improved demand forecasting through machine learning and statistical methods, resulting in significant cost savings.

From 2014 to 2018, Tim served as the Head of Data Science at HealthiNation, where they built the company's data capability from scratch and provided key insights to the C-suite and department heads for business operations.

Before that, Tim worked as a Software Engineer at Large Animal Games in 2013, where they had responsibilities in server and back-end client programming, database administration, and software version control.

In 2011, they worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Miami.

From 2008 to 2010, Tim worked as a Software Engineer at both Aero Simulation, Inc. and CAE, designing and developing complex software systems for flight simulator devices. Tim was involved in the entire development lifecycle, from design and engineering to post-sale customer support.

Tim also has experience as a Co-op at CAE in 2004 and as a Sales Associate at Sam Ash Music from 2001 to 2003.

Tim Schweichler received their Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (B.S.E.E) from the University of Miami in the years 2001-2005. Tim furthered their education at the same institution and completed their Master of Science (M.S.) in Music Engineering Technology from 2010 to 2012. In addition to their academic qualifications, Tim also obtained certifications in Machine Learning, Mining Massive Datasets, and Introduction to Data Science from Coursera, with specific years of completion not provided.
