Veera Kumpulainen

Veera Kumpulainen is a highly experienced Safety Manager and Senior Drug Safety Expert at Medfiles since August 2020, with responsibilities including EU Deputy QPPV, local and global literature reviews, SOP writing, and mentoring staff. Previously, Veera held roles at Eli Lilly and Company from September 2018 to August 2020, progressing from Drug Safety Associate I to Drug Safety Associate II, focusing on case processing training, Eudravigilance, and regulatory submissions. Veera's career began with a Laboratory Scientist Placement at MedImmune in July 2012, where skills in pharmaceutical procedures and drug development were developed. Veera holds a Master of Science degree in Molecular Medicine and Cancer Research, as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Science, both from Brunel University London.
