Joe Wengerd

Joe Wengerd is an experienced healthcare professional with a diverse background in emergency medical services and nursing. Currently serving as a Flight Nurse and Mobile ICU Registered Nurse/Paramedic at MedFlight since June 2021, Joe Wengerd also maintains a role as a Paramedic with the Fire Department, a position held since June 2020. With over 15 years of volunteer EMT service, Joe Wengerd transitioned from EMT-B/FF at the Fire Department, holding that role since May 2005. Previous experience includes working as a Critical Care RN at Summa Health and an RN at Affinity Medical Center in the Medical Intensive Care Unit. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Nursing obtained from Kent State University at Tuscarawas and a certificate in Emergency Medical Technology from Clark State College.
