Sakthivel Murugan

Dr. Sakthivel joined MedGenome in 2013 and has been with the company since its inception. He played an integral part in setting up the lab processes and over the years served in various positions managing lab operations. He has been overseeing key service projects and is responsible for new test development, optimization, and validation. He oversees quality compliance and was instrumental in obtaining CAP accreditation for MedGenome. Dr. Sakthivel comes with a vast experience of 20 years in the field of genetics and molecular diagnostics with specific focus on NGS technology. Dr. Sakthivel has a PhD. in Human Genetics from BITS, Pilani.
