Asi Haviv

Asi Haviv is a seasoned medical professional currently serving as the Medical Director at MediWound since September 2023. Previously, Asi held the position of VP Clinical Development at Amryt Pharma and led significant clinical interactions with the EMA that contributed to the marketing authorization of Mycapssa for acromegaly in the EU. During Asi's tenure at Chiasma, from November 2012 to August 2021, major responsibilities included leading the clinical development of Mycapssa. Prior roles at Teva Pharmaceuticals included Director, Global Clinical Program Leader, and Associate Director, Corporate Clinical Leader, focusing on various clinical development strategies in immunology and growth hormone therapies. Asi's early career also involved serving as a Senior Physician at the Oral Medicine Department of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem - Hadassah. Educational achievements include a Doctor of Dental Medicine and a Bachelor's degree in Medical Sciences from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, as well as ongoing studies at Middlesex University.
