Charis Hoard, MPA, is a researcher at Media Matters for America since August 2022. Previously, Charis served as a Governmental Affairs Intern at the Freedom From Religion Foundation from January 2021 to August 2022. Before that, Charis was a WorkElections Fellow at the Fair Elections Center, where engagement in community organizing included recruiting poll workers and utilizing various communication methods. In 2018, Charis worked as a subject tutor for Bowling Green State University Learning Commons, primarily focusing on Psychology, Criminal Justice, and International Studies courses, while supporting student-athletes in achieving academic success. Charis holds a Master of Public Administration degree earned from Bowling Green State University in 2022, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology obtained from the same institution in 2020.
