Ali Smith has a diverse range of work experience, starting in 2000 as a Business Analyst at Aquila Group Holdings. From 2003 to 2010, they worked as a Manager at Accenture. They then joined ANZ in 2011 as an Implementation Manager, where they played a key role in digitally transforming the way Institutional research was delivered. In 2013, they held two roles simultaneously, serving as both a Technology Strategist at Microsoft and a Lead for True Local acquisition at Sensis, before leaving Sensis later that year. In 2017, Ali joined BizTech Enterprise Solutions as a Customer Success Manager, and in 2019, they became the Head of Delivery - Client Services. Their most recent position, which they started in February 2020, is as the Operations Director of the Global Team at MediaMonks.
Ali Smith completed the Executive Education - S4 Women's Leadership Program at the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business in 2021. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Information Technology & Management from Loughborough University, where they studied from 1997 to 2000. In addition to their degrees, Ali Smith obtained the S4 Women Leadership certification from UC Berkeley Executive Education.
