Erick Louie

Erick Louie has more than 20 years of experience in various engineering roles. Erick started their career as an Electrical Engineer at Motorola, where they focused on integration and test engineering for digital hardware and computer simulation. After that, they worked as a Lead Test Engineer at Mykotronx, troubleshooting and isolating hardware failures for space and government programs.

Louie then transitioned into web development, becoming the Online Community Director at TOKYOPOP, where they designed and developed media and community websites. Erick later joined Live Sockets Entertainment as a Partner and Web Developer, responsible for frontend and backend development, including an ecommerce shopping cart and content management system.

Erick'snext role was as a Senior Software Engineer at BLITZ, where they served as a technical lead and developer for a wide range of projects, including social networking APIs, online communities, and marketing sites. Clients included FX Networks, Activision, and Starbucks. Louie then joined iCrossing as a Lead UI Front End Engineer, providing technical direction and oversight for teams, developing site features, and leading projects to successful completion.

Louie's next role was at Ubiquiti Networks as a Senior UI Front End Engineer, where they were involved in the full cycle development and maintenance of the company's marketing site. Erick then joined Katch LLC as a Senior Front End Engineer, working on the development and maintenance of multiple websites sharing common frontend and backend functionality.

Currently, Louie is a Senior Frontend Engineer at MediaAlpha, where their responsibilities include developing and maintaining numerous websites on a single platform, utilizing frontend and backend technologies such as javascript, HTML, CSS, and PHP on Laravel.
