Yanfei Shao

Yanfei Shao has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. In 2011, they worked as a Research Assistant at the Institute of Computing Technology Chinese Academy of Sciences. From 2013 to 2014, Yanfei was the Business Manager and Lead Software Engineer at Cinda. Yanfei also founded Dreamy Studio during that time, where they worked as a Software Engineer. In 2015, Yanfei joined Amazon as a Software Engineer for a brief period of three months. Simultaneously, they served as a Research and Teaching Assistant at Stevens Institute of Technology from 2015 to 2016. Since 2016, Yanfei has been working at MediaAlpha as a Lead Software Engineer.

Yanfei Shao has a diverse educational background. They obtained a Master's Degree in Computer Science from Stevens Institute of Technology, where they studied from 2014 to 2016. During the same period, they also obtained a certification in Cloud Computing and Enterprise Computing from the same institution. Prior to this, from 2009 to 2013, Yanfei Shao attended Capital Normal University, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Software Engineering and obtained a certification in Motion Picture & Video Technology. In addition to their formal education, Yanfei Shao acquired a certification in Neural Networks and Deep Learning from Coursera in October 2017.
