Peter Aelbrecht

Peter Aelbrecht has extensive work experience in the media and telecommunications industry. Peter is currently the VP of Sales at MediaKind Global, a position they have held since 2019. Prior to this, Peter worked at Ericsson for over 10 years, holding various roles including Media Key Account Manager for Liberty Global, Benelux and Switzerland, and Senior Sales Manager. Before joining Ericsson, Peter worked at Terayon Communication Systems as a Sales Director and Technical Sales Director in Hong Kong. Peter also served as a Technical Sales Director at ECI Telecom in Beijing. Peter's early career includes a role as an HFC Design Engineer at Telenet and as a Research Engineer at INTEC/IMEC - University Gent. Overall, Peter has a strong background in sales and technical roles within the media and telecommunications industry.

Peter Aelbrecht completed their MSc in Electronics at Ghent University from 1991 to 1994. Prior to that, they also obtained an MSc in Electronics from Odisee from 1987 to 1991. In addition to their academic qualifications, Peter Aelbrecht has obtained several certifications from LinkedIn, including "Body Language for Leaders," "Being Positive at Work," "Decoding Body Language," "How to Give Negative Feedback to Senior Colleagues," "Influencing Others," "Introduction to 5G," "Learn Emotional Intelligence, the Key Determiner of Success," "People Management using Emotional Intelligence," "The Six Morning Habits of High Performers," and "Unconscious Bias." These certifications were obtained in June and July of 2020.
