Selim Derkaoui

Selim Derkaoui is an independent journalist and author with extensive experience in various media outlets. Selim co-founded the web magazine Frustration in 2018, serving as co-editor-in-chief until January 2022 and currently operates as an independent journalist since April 2024. Selim's published works include an updated pocket edition of "La guerre des mots," and the book "Rendre les coups," which discusses boxing and class struggle. Selim has contributed to Mediapart and Le Monde diplomatique since March 2022, and engages with audiences as a regular guest on Le Média. Previously, Selim held a position as a debate chronicler for BFMTV and has conducted notable interviews, including one with philosopher Jacques Rancière. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Journalism from CELSA Paris-Sorbonne and a Master's degree in History and Political Science from Cardiff University.
