Joaquim Bretcha

Joaquim Bretcha serves as the Director General at ESOMAR since March 2023 and has been involved with several organizations in various capacities. As the Club and Tournaments' Master of Ceremonies and Speaker for Club Egara, Catalan Field Hockey Federation, and Spanish Field Hockey Federation since April 2022, Joaquim embraced the role after a fulfilling experience at the European Hockey League (EHL) Ranking Cup Men 2022 Tournament. Additionally, Joaquim is a member of the Advisory Board for MindProber, a neuroscience platform, and a board member at Cecot until May 2024. Joaquim has extensive experience with Netquest as International Director and Managing Director Iberia at Podcast People, Data & Insights. Co-founding Health Us Nepal highlights Joaquim’s commitment to health access in remote areas. Joaquim has held leadership roles at ESOMAR from 2015 to 2022, contributing to the organization's mission in the data and insights community, and has lectured at Toulouse Business School. Educational background includes studies at IESE Business School, Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, and La Salle Bonanova.
