Candida Costa Wong

Candida Costa Wong has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Candida began their career in 2006 as a Senior Consultant at BSI Group of Companies, where they developed financial and valuation models for early stage ventures. From 2010 to 2015, Candida worked at Industry Capability Network as an International Business Capability Adviser and later as a Manager of Health & International Programs. Candida'sresponsibilities included developing and delivering ICN's health sector strategy and matching Australian suppliers with healthcare infrastructure projects. This was followed by roles at Healthscope, where they served as a Marketing and Business Development Manager from 2015 to 2017, and as a Manager of Strategy & Special Projects from 2017 to 2018. Since 2019, Candida has been working at Medibank as the Head of Strategy, Group Finance and Strategy, overseeing group strategy and M&A projects in the primary care, hospital, and healthtech sectors. In 2022, they also held a position as a Board Observer at Medinet.

Candida Costa Wong has a diverse education history. In 2017, they completed an Executive Education program in Innovating Health for Tomorrow at INSEAD. The following year, in 2016, they pursued an Executive Education program in Leadership and Innovation in Health at Monash University. In 2006-2007, Candida earned a Master's degree in International Business and Finance from the University of Melbourne. Candida also obtained a certification in Business and Financial Modeling Specialization from Wharton Online in 2019.
