Peter Piliero

Peter Piliero is an experienced professional in the field of Medical Affairs, currently serving as the Executive Vice President and Head of Medical Training & Development at the Medical Affairs Professional Society (MAPS) since January 2020, where also holds a position on the Board of Directors. Previously, Peter held notable roles such as Vice President of Medical Affairs at Melinta Therapeutics and GSK Consumer Healthcare, along with leadership positions at Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals and Merck. Peter's extensive background in clinical development and medical affairs was further established during their tenure at Boehringer Ingelheim and as an Associate Professor at Albany Medical College. Peter holds an MD from Stony Brook University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine and a BS in Biomedical Sciences from The City College of New York.
