Susie Stanway

Susie Stanway is an esteemed medical professional and academic with extensive experience in oncology and global health initiatives. Currently serving on the International Affairs Committee of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and as a guest lecturer at UCL and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, Susie focuses on global non-communicable diseases and cancer care. As a co-convenor of London Global Cancer Week and co-founder of the UK Global Cancer Network, Susie is dedicated to advancing cancer care and research. Additionally, Susie has volunteered with Medical Aid for Palestinians and has held various roles, including honorary consultant in medical oncology at The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust and medical oncology consultant at the Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Medicine in Oncology and Cancer Biology from Imperial College London, an MSc in Oncology and Cancer Biology from the University of London, and a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians designation. Recent training includes a HEAT certification from the British Red Cross and an online learning course on safeguarding for humanitarians.
