Denise Minyard has over 20 years of experience in the field of speech pathology, currently serving as the Speech Pathologist and Outpatient Rehab Services Manager at Medical Center Health System since February 2005. In this role, Denise specializes in the evaluation and treatment of various speech, language, voice, cognitive, and swallowing disorders, particularly those arising from conditions such as CVA, traumatic brain injury, and head/neck cancer. Denise is certified in Vital Stim for dysphagia treatment and is knowledgeable in Passy Muir speaking valve evaluation, modified barium swallow studies, and tracheoesophageal voice restoration. Prior experience includes serving as a Speech Language Pathologist at Ector County ISD from August 1999 to February 2008, focusing on communication disorders in students ages 3-17. Denise Minyard holds a Master's of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Texas Woman's University and a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from Texas A&M University School of Dentistry.
