Erica Wilson, PharmD, BCPS has a diverse work experience in the field of pharmacy. Erica started their career as a Pharmacy Intern at National Central Pharmacy from March 2012 to March 2014. In 2013, they also worked as an Organic Chemistry Lab Student Researcher at McMurry University. Erica then continued their education at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center from August 2011 to May 2015, where they served as a Pharmacy Student.
After completing their studies, Erica joined Hendrick Medical Center as a Pharmacy Intern from April 2014 to May 2015. Erica then transitioned to Odessa College, working as a Professor from September 2015 to February 2017.
In 2015, Erica also began their journey at Medical Center Health System, starting as a PGY1 Pharmacy Resident from June 2015 to June 2016. Erica then served as a Critical Care Clinical Pharmacy Specialist from June 2016 to June 2019. Following this, they held the role of Pharmacy Clinical Coordinator and PGY1 Pharmacy Residency Director from June 2019 to July 2022. Currently, Erica is the Director of Pharmacy at Medical Center Health System, a position they have held since August 2022.

Erica Wilson, PharmD, BCPS, completed their Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center from 2011 to 2015. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biochemistry from McMurry University from 2007 to 2011.
Erica has also obtained several certifications throughout their career. Erica became a Pharmacist Preceptor under the Texas State Board of Pharmacy in 2015. In the same year, they also received certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support from the American Heart Association | American Stroke Association, and Registered Pharmacist from the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.
In 2011, Erica obtained the Basic Life Support (CPR/AED) for Healthcare Providers certification from the American Heart Association | American Stroke Association. Erica also became a Certified Pharmacist Intern under the Texas State Board of Pharmacy in November 2011. Additionally, they obtained the Student Intern Immunizer Certification from the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) in 2011.
Most recently, Erica obtained the Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS) certification from the Board of Pharmacy Specialties in January 2017.
