Nicole Fumo has a diverse work experience spanning over several organizations and roles. Nicole started their career at the FBI as an Assistant to a Consultant Forensic Anthropologist in 2009. Later, they worked as an Intern at The Field Museum of Natural History and as a Teaching Assistant/Research Assistant at Loyola University Chicago. In 2010, Nicole held positions as a Volunteer Relief Support at Haitian Support Ministries and as a Medical Assistant/Medical Records at Digestive Healthcare Specialists. In 2011, they became a Health Educator at Ozanam Clinic. In 2012, they worked as an intern and later as a Program Coordinator at Diverse and Resilient. Nicole joined the Louisiana Office of Public Health in 2013 as a Social Marketing Coordinator. In 2014, Nicole became the Statewide Youth Program Manager at Diverse & Resilient. Nicole transitioned to the role of Evaluation and Compliance Manager before leaving in 2016. Since 2016, they have been working at the Medical College of Wisconsin, initially as a Program Manager and currently as a Research Director.
Nicole Fumo has a Master of Public Health (M.P.H.) degree in Program Design and Implementation: Sexual Health from Tulane University School of Medicine, which they obtained from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Forensic Science with minor foci in Chemistry and Anthropology from Loyola University Chicago between 2005 and 2009.
