Robert Lanc

Robert Lanc has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple industries. Robert started their career in 1990 as a Western Canada Sales Manager at Ortho Active Appliances. Robert then moved on to work at TV Guide as a Crossword Creator before transitioning to AMG Medical in 1994, where they served as a Sales Manager. At AMG Medical, Lanc managed sales and new product launches, achieving significant growth in their territory. Robert then joined Katz Group / Drug Trading Company as a Category Manager from 2000 to 2002. Lanc then worked at Smith + Nephew Inc as a Business Manager, where they managed a team of six clinical representatives and negotiated several contracts. Following that, they served as the Ontario Business Development Coordinator at Shoppers Medical Supply and Institutional. In this role, they successfully launched Shoppers Institutional into Long Term Care homes and achieved sales growth. Lanc then joined Attends Healthcare Products as the Director of Key Accounts, where they reversed declining market share and implemented a national distribution strategy. Robert worked as an Area Director at Bayshore Home Health from 2009 to 2011 before assuming their current position as the Vice President of Canadian Commercial Product Management at Drive Medical Canada Inc. In this role, Lanc is responsible for overall profitability, product management, marketing strategy, and regulatory compliance, among other responsibilities.

Robert Lanc has a diverse education history. In 2008, they attended York University for a brief period, where they focused on French Proficiency in the field of study of Business. Prior to that, from 1993 to 1994, they pursued a BSc degree in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry at Simon Fraser University. In 1989, Robert briefly attended Dale Carnegie, although no specific degree or field of study is mentioned. From 1984 to 1987, they studied Food and Drug Technology at Durham College. Additionally, Robert has obtained certifications in Robert's Rules of Order and Parliamentary Procedure from Durham College in March 2020, as well as an Entry Level Small Sided Games Soccer Referee certification from Ontario Soccer in March 2019.
