Jamie Waugh obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo in 2014, following a five-year program from 2009 to 2014. In 2015, Waugh returned to the University of Waterloo and completed a Master of Applied Science (MASc) in Electrical Engineering in 2018. Additionally, Waugh obtained a certification in Fundamentals of University Teaching from the Centre for Teaching Excellence at the University of Waterloo in December 2017.
